Owner Spotlight - Dr. Amy Bishai
I’m Dr. Amy Bishai. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
In 1995, I came on board as an associate to Dr. Misumi’s practice, which had been serving the Etobicoke area since 1963. It was a natural progression to ownership as Dr. Misumi retired. I have had the pleasure of treating three generations of families.
Over the years, families have grown, so those I treated as children are starting their careers, getting married, and having children. Technologies in the field have also advanced considerably, and with continued education for the doctor and staff, the practice strives to deliver the highest quality dentistry.
Servicing my client’s oral health needs and relationships with long-term staff and clients have made for successful growth and value-added service to patients.
My philosophy is to practice through an evidence-based approach. I am committed to continuing my education and bringing in new technologies and the latest professional advancements.
Why I’ve been successful
As an individual, my integrity, genuineness, hard work, and dedication to my craft set me apart. I attribute my success to listening to patients’ concerns and treating the patient as a whole. Understanding that patients have many needs and backgrounds and view things from different lenses has also been an asset in my arsenal.
Changing the outlook and confidence of patients through transforming their smiles has given me immense satisfaction over the years. Restoring function to patients, so they enjoy their meals and no longer placing their hand over their mouth when they smile is thanks enough.
During my downtime
When I am not at work, I enjoy running, entertaining friends and family, tennis, hiking, and hanging out with my daughter, who will soon join the practice!
If you or someone you know could benefit from my dental expertise, I invite you to get in touch. You will experience pain-free dentistry and a very empathetic, caring Dentist that will listen to your concerns. Please feel free to call me at 416-622-1917 or email me at amybishai@rogers.com.
Sincerely,
Dr. Amy
